Tattoos, Ear Piercing, Information Bureaus & Services
I have been going to this shop for almost two years, having Alex give me new tattoos or fix old ones. I just recently gave him free range to finish my sleeve with whatever he wants to do. He is that good and that creative. In the meantime a friend sent me a photo of some ear piercings she thought I would like. Very pretty and feminine. I immediately contacted the shop and set up to see Brandon, the piercing expert. He was exact, professional, sterile, and funny. And I left with four perfect ear piercings. Everyone loves them, I couldn't be happier. There is no where else to go but Studio 28. Really.
I'd been wanting to get a tattoo for a while, but wanted to make sure I was going to a good place. Doing a search for something related I came on the many outstanding reviews for Studio 28 at Citysearch and went in to see them. I couldn't have had a better experience. They made it easy to talk to them about my idea, and were great about explaining what would need to be adjusted--this was just what I was hoping for since I lack the practical knowledge to know how an idea would translate onto the skin. Everything others have said about the space is true--very relaxed, very welcoming, and very very clean. The place is open and simple-looking--there's nothing to compete with the art being created. The tattoo experience was good from start to finish. Paul Reynolds did a sketch, then some adjustments, and then went to work. As I admitted afterwards, while he was working (where I couldn't see) I prepared myself to be disappointed, thinking it couldn't look as nice as I imaged it. But the actual tattoo looked even better! The colors, the details--as my friend said when I showed it to them: OMG, that's perfect! I'll be proud to recommend TJ, Paul and everyone at Studio 28 to anyone looking for the best!
