My husband and I lteesnid to this story while cutting up strawberries for jam, and the job was over before we knew it because we were so absorbed in the mystery. He guessed that the girl escaped through the trap-door, but I had no clue to the solution. I really enjoyed the background material, as I always do, and learned a lot from it. I liked hearing that the Clidesdales delivered Roosevelt beer when he repealed Prohibition.I especially loved Shawn's wishing his mom Happy Mother's Day, and his saying that he loved her, because I am his mom! I love you too, most excellent Reader. Your accents were great.

I recently had a birthday party at the Speakesy, and was totally blown away. From the initial contact with the party planners, via a google search for private party rooms in NYC,.......to saying goodbye to our party manager that evening, I was completely impressed! The space is cool and beautiful at the same time, and the staff, management and music were amazing and professional. The drinks, food, and service were better than I have sen in a while, and the price was not to be believed! I would definitely do another event with Eat Drink and Be Merry, and at the same location no less. Go for it!
