Luna, our 3 yo catahoula leopard mix rescued from a DTLA shelter, just graduated basic training! It was honestly the best money we've spent in a long time! She had several bad habits and I'm glad to say that after five weeks away from home she is still our lovable Luna who just wants to cuddle. BUT! Now we can take her out for a walk in our neighborhood, lots of dogs, and keep HER from dragging US around. We are no longer afraid that she will escape when we open the door. No more hyper jumping on everyone, and growling every time the neighbors open their door. They didn't change who she was, but they taught her how to respond to commands, and they taught us how to communicate what we want from her. Happy dog, happy family!

The folks at Hollywood Dog are THE ABSOLUTE BEST!!!! After we lost our 13 year old Golden, I contacted HDTS, on the recommendation of a friend, and before we even got a new dog, Stan Gold gave me all kinds of good advice - buy from a breeder, rescue, etc. Then, before the pup came home, Stan visited the house and gave us a bunch of tips and information. During the first few weeks we had the pup, I must have called Stan 50 times with questions and/or problems -- our pup turns out to be an Alpha female, extremely smart and very opinionated. We sent her to boot camp - first with the wonderful Mia for basic training, and then with Diana The Miracle Worker for off-leash. She has turned into the (nearly) perfect dog - she still has her moments of puppydom (she's now 10 months), but she listens and minds us perfectly!!! Both Stan and Rick have been incredible - always there to answer questions, and you can bring your dog there for "refresher" lessons any time - for FREE!!! The st
